Bitmain Antminer X3 is an ASIC miner designed for mining CryptoNight based Coins such as Monero. The initial batches of X3 is sold for about USD 12000. However, the prices have now dropped to USD 1900.
The Antminer APW3++ is the recommended power supply for safe and efficient Bitmain Antminer X3 CryptoNight hashing based mining.
The initial batches will have higher advantage of almost no competition to compete them in the Monero mining. Monero that is using CryptoNight hash function is about to change their PoW algorithm, according to their public statement, it is purposely to brick ASIC mining rigs including X3.
Riccardo Spagni, the project lead at Monero tweeted that their new miner will “NOT WORK” for mining Monero. Monero’s boards alerted buyers to not purchase these units because of a scheduled change in the coin’s Proof-of-Work algorithm.
Bitmain Antminer X3 is compatible with several other cryptocurrencies such as Bytecoin, Aeon, Dash, and many more.
UPDATE2: DragonMin X1, a 124kh/s CryptoNight hashing miner has also announced. Again, the challenge is with Monero hardfork.

Bitmain supply their customers with a 180 day warranty, however that warranty comes with limitations. For example, the warranty won’t be valid if you overclock the miner (running it at a higher speed than it was designed to run). Also, if you use an inappropriate power supply or generate environmental damage to your miner you won’t be eligible for a warranty (e.g. lightning strike, corrosion due to wet environment).
